Jaxson's Blessing Day

Today our sweet little Jaxson Armstron Derbidge was blessed by his daddy. Johnny did a great job, and the spirit was strong as he blessed his son with many wonderful things for his future. Scott and Brandon were in the circle and Cody got to hold the microphone so all the men in the family got to join in.

We always have one day while Kendahl is here that Scott makes banana pancakes. Today was the day...but we forgot to buy bananas so we made chocolate chip instead. You know if there was chocolate any where in the picture I wasn't complaining. Since I am the one that thinks it is two of the four food groups.

We took some pictures before we left for the blessing since we were all dressed up we thought we should.

Thanksgiving Point

Saturday didn't start out very well. We started the day with a funeral for a neighbor, and felt so bad for her family. She was a good lady who left behind a husband and two teenage children and many friends,and family that will miss her.

The day did get better though....we went to the movies to see "THE WATER HORSE" and then to TGI Fridays for lunch and then to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights. It was a long day but so nice.

Cody was tired and thought Kendahl would make a great pillow, and she said she didn't mind...so out he went!

Thursday we went to Chili's for dinner and then over to Nicole's and T's so Kendahl could give her presents to them. Of course the line at Chili's was long and then it was even longer once we sat down so what did we do to pass the time....Take pictures of course!

Christmas With Kendahl

When you are a blended family and have a lot of extended family Christmas can last for days. Kendahl flew in on December 26th to spend a few days with us so this was our Christmas Day with her. We tried to make it special by making a nice dinner, setting the table with holiday things, and I even made a menu for the evening. She is such a delight to have around and always bring such a sweet spirit to our home when she is here. We are always excited and happy to have her come and so sad to see her go. We had a great time with her and each day was a blessing to have time with her and Cody. Merry Christmas SweetPea.We love you....come back to see us soon!

Kendahl loves to watch movies and listen to music (like father like daugter) so she got a lot of new DVD's and CD's for Christmas.

Christmas Day

T, Nicole, Natalie & Paige came over on Christmas morning. We had a great time watching Paige open her presents, and just being together. The little ones make Christmas so much fun. In a few years Jaxson will be old enough to really enjoy it. We can't wait for that.We will go over to see Brittany, Johnny, Brandon and Jaxson later today. He is only six weeks old but Santa said he still needed lots of gifts and we never argue with Santa....LOL

But they are nice gifts and I always go so overboard with the stocking stuffers we have to now have stocking gift bags....LOL. They get plenty and we hope the main thing they know at Christmas is the Savior loves them and so do we....VERY MUCH!

We went to see Johnny, Brittany, Brandon and Jaxson Christmas afternoon. Johnny had to work the night before and didn't get home until about 6:00 in the morning, so he needed to get some sleep before we went over.Santa brought them a "Guitar Hero" for Christmas and they were having a lot of fun with that.And of course we all spoiled Jaxson.

It was good to see Brandon. Bailee was the first baby in the house and still doesn't know what to make of Baby Jaxson. She still gets lots of love and attention but wants to make sure she gets her share. Brandon is really good with her.
