It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Well, it's time to deck the hall, jingle all the way, and Mommy of course will caught kissing Santa Claus.
There will be pies and cookies to bake, presents to wrap, songs to be sung, snowmen to be made, snowball fights to be won and the list goes on..... At my house we are starting with "Decking The Halls"

I love to decorate my house for Christmas but this year after having broke my finger and injured two others, face cancer and turning 50...frankly I was just tired. So I called my BFF and decorator exstrodinair Tammy and we struck a deal. So I didn't have to decorate my house this year. I just get to sit back and enjoy it. I did have input of course and we did a little shopping together (why...I am not sure) because I have collected a ton of Christmas things over the years. But we had a certain look in mind and once it was done I gave all the extra to charity! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

First the mess....you know you have to go through everything and see what you have!

And this is not all of it but I was too embarrassed to show it all to you :)

And now the fun begins......

My tree is so beautiful and so different than anything I have ever had. I just love it!

I love the topper. I usually use an angel or a star, but probably never will again!

The banisters are probably my favorite. I just never get around to decorating them. But this year they are spectacular!

I love the simplicity of just filling jars with Christmas balls.

I bought these wreaths last year but sure like them better with all the new decorations. Just have to find a way next year to hide the cords. And a swag or something to soften the look of the blinds.

This little black table in my kitchen is one of my favorite things. I had it for years and it was a hunter green color. I always wanted to paint it but only got around to it this year...well actually Tammy painted
it!

Our family has grown so much and so fast Scott and I had to move our stocking to the fireplace in the family room. But we sure don't mind. Just keep those grandbabies coming!

I love to change out the plates in this rack for all my parties and holidays. It's a fun accent.

Couldn't forget over the stove. It still needs something but just not sure what.

Or over the pantry.

Tammy made this amazing wreath. I love the ribbon, and how it is big enoughto fill the large empty space over the stairs.

I have always hated this mantel. It is short and not deep enough. But Tammy managed to make it look wonderful for Christmas.

I still don't have any curtains but as soon as I find someone that can make them for me I will. We needed a little color and needed to stay within the budget and I think these work just fine.

May only joy, peace, happiness, love and the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ fill your home this holiday season and always!

A Warning To Parents.....

I would like to issue a warning to all parents of any little girls around the age of 3....This adorable little guy is going to be turning 16 the same time as your daughters.

You better lock up your girls because this handsome devil is going to be a heart breaker. Do you see those eye's...so blue and that smile...aww.... I just can't get over how cute he is and he is only 3.

If he turns out like his dad who has only gotten better looking with age he is going to have the girls knocking down the front door!!

As of Tuesday he  is well on his way to a good education.....

Grandpa and I love you so much Jaxson. And are sooo proud of you.

Happy Birthday Jaxson

Happy 3rd birthday to our adorable grandson Jaxson. He is such a joy in our lives and we love every minute we spend with him. He always makes us laugh. He loves all things trucks and cars. He is so curious and loves to look at everything.

We love when he comes to have us babysit him and his little sister Brooklyn. Grandpa spends most of his time with Brooklyn while Grandma and Jaxson play cars and  Grandma chases him all over trying to tickle him.

Grandpa and Grandma love you so much Jaxson. You are an amazing little guy! Happy Birthday!!

** Today I am thankful for all of my grandchildren and the joy they bring to our lives**

Thanksgiving Challenge

One of my favorite blogs RED COUCH RECIPES has started a  challenge.

With every post you write from now until Thanksgiving, include a blurb, with or without a picture ,  of something specific you are thankful for.  My mention of thanks won't be the whole post -- just a blurb.  Don't stress about taking a picture if you don't have one.  That's it!  That's the challenge!
I had planned to post anything today so for now I will just post one thing I am thankful for....
My wonderful husband and the relationship he has with our children and grandchildren. Our new little granddaughter Brooklyn just adores him.
