MARCH FAMILY SPOTLIGHT

This month our spotlight is our granddaugther Paige. She turned 5 on March 12th and turned me into jell-o the day she was born.Yes, she has me wrapped around her finger. I was privledged to have been there when my daughter Nicole gave birth to her. Watching her come into this world was something I will cherish for the rest of my life. She stole my heart the minute I saw her and I have never been the same.
Scott became and instant grandfather when we married and loves her very much. She has always loved him and they have a great relationship. Paige has a furry bestfriend named Tasha...it's her little dog. I call it the demon dog because it runs around like a Tazmanian Devil. But they are good company for one another even though they pester each other a lot!

Paige is very smart, and loves everything about school. She is spoiled rotten (and I had nothing to do with that)...(wink)...(wink). I love to hear her tell a story, sing a song or resite a poem or rhyme she has learned. She is Grandma's little Princess and I feel very blessed to have her in my life.

We love you Paige...Hugs and Kisses!

This is by far my favorite picture as of yet. I hate it that she skinned her nose, I know it hurt. But this picture just makes me laugh. I remember when I took it and how much I laughed at all the silly faces she was making.

This was her second Easter I believe. Her favorite person to hang out with has always been her Uncle Cody. We got her this to put her toys in but she liked to sit in it instead.

She was so little here. She found my sandals, put them on the wrong feet and then came looking for me and was teasing that she wasn't going to give them back...I just had to take the picture.

This is one of my favorite Halloween pictures of Paige....I know she doesn't look happy. She was just tired. She had a great time going out and doing the trick-or-treat thing. She has grown so much and this pictures seems so long ago.

Tasha...the demon dog!

One of my favorite pictures of us!

Easter Sunday 2008

It was so nice to get together with our kids for Easter. Our grandchildren are our sweetest blessing and we love having everyone here to share in the celebration of the resurrection of our Savior. It was Jaxson's first Easter and we were so happy to be able to share it with him.It will be a couple of years before we can share another with Brandon as he is leaving on his mission in June. So it was really special to have him with us.Paige is older now and really is starting to get what Easter is about. The food was great, the company was great and the spirit that filled our home that day was wonderful. To our chidren we want to say how much we love all of you and how proud we are of each of you. Kendahl we missed you sweetie but maybe next year you will be with us...we sure hope so.

Everyone got a little Easter surprise. Cody did the art work on everyone's tag and on the bags the little ones used for their Easter egg hunt. Good job Cody!

Our Easter Table

A great way to end a great day. Everyone brought something and we had a wonderful dinner together. Thanks everyone....it was a fantastic day and we want you all to know how much we love you!

Our Savior Lives!

Our Savior lives and he loves us. He is our advocate with the Father, he pleads on our behalf. This day and always may you and your family know and feel of his love.
He is always there with open arms

Happy Easter from our home to your's.

Jelly Beans

Little jelly beans
Tell a story true.
A tale of Father's love
Just for me and you.

GREEN is for the waving palms.
YELLOW is for the sun above.
BROWN is for the soft earth where
People sat hearing of HIS love.

A SPECKLED bean for fish and sand.
RED for precious wine and
BLACK is for the sin
He washed from your soul and mine.

PURPLE'S for the sadness of
HIS family and His friends,
WHITE is for the glory of
The Day HE rose again.

Now that you've heard the story
You know what each color means.

The story of our Father's love
Told by some jelly beans.

So every morning take a bean
They're really very yummy.
Something for the soul, you see
And something for the tummy.

Happy Easter

What Great Weekend!

Saturday we took Cody and Brandon to Hill Airforce Base so they could see the museum and Cody could finish up on a scout merit badge. It had some pretty cool stuff. We had lunch at McDonalds and then came back home and Brandon and Cody hung out.

The museum has some pretty cool stuff, here is Cody next to a display of the different kinds of uniforms the pilots have worn over the years.

Wow....they look so small next to that plane!

Sunday was Scott's birthday. The kids came over for pie and ice-cream and we all had a great visit. The only one missing was Kendahl. That couldn't be helped but she was really missed, and we hope she can be with us again soon.

Happy Birthday Honey! I hope your day was as special and wonderful as you are.
