Moonlight Madness At Anastasia's Attic!

There is always something going on at Gardner Village. Yesterday was Moonlight Madness. All the stores stayed open until midnight and had sales,drawings,treats, etc. The place was packed. Wall to wall people all looking for a bargain, laughing and having fun. It was my second big event since starting there 7 months ago.The first being Frontier Days...it was fun, but at the end of the night my feet were killing me. I didn't get the feeling back in my toes for about two days...that will teach me to wear boots...LOL. The theme this year was "Beach Party". All the stores and employees were decked out in their beach wear except for us....we were pirates...ARRRRRRGGGGGGG!

My boss Tara was the most beautiful pirate I have ever seen. But then again she is beautiful all the time.(NO, I am not sucking up...we have been good friends for many years and she knows how much I love her and her family). Her mom and dad, Sharon and Robert came to help and it was fun hanging out with them. As I said we have been friends for many years but don't get to see each other very often. I looooove Brie and she is so much fun to work with. Mary Ellen is our accountant and is as sweet as she is beautiful. Rachel was not with us because she was on vacation and Britt (Brie's sister) just left us to start college....I will miss her soooo much.

We had Robert outside luring them in, Sharon on the front porch giving out gold coins with discounts on them,Mary Ellen giving out Fairy Dust kisses, while Tara,Brie and I took care of the cash register and helping customers find things. It was a long night but it was a blast.

No....there are no pictures of me. As I said the chocolate chip cookies have made me a fat pirate and I didn't like any of the pictures of me. And if you know anything about me you will know I hate to do the dress up thing. I didn't do it as a child except for Halloween and that was just to get the candy. I never played dress up with my mom's clothes, and I still dislike any kind of costume....even though Tara swears she will win me over. But the ladies below are very beautiful and so sweet. I feel blessed to get to work with people I really like and enjoy their company.
