Friends Forever!!

My friend Kristi and I always try and get together for a birthday lunch. My birthday is in Jan. and hers in Feb. Well, this year we were a little late...as you can see it is July and it wasn't a lunch it was breakfast. But it was sooooo good to see her and catch up.The cutie beside her is her youngest daughter McKenna. She has always joined us, first because she was too little to leave at home and we usually had our lunch while the older kids were in school. And now...well.... she has always come so I just don't think it would be the same without her.I had never been to Mimi's Cafe so Kristi suggested we meet there. I loved it, and can't wait to go back. Kristi and I have been friends for a long time. She and her family were really there for me and my kids when we were going through some tough times. I even bought her house. We may not get to see each other very often but our friendship will last forever.

Thanks for breakfast girlfriend, it was fun. Give my love to McKenna

JULY 24th,25th & 26th

We had Paige for a few days while T and Nicole were out of town. Here are a few things we did other than play 150 million games of candy land and bake enough cookies to feed a third world country...LOL. It was a lot of fun to spend some one on one time with her.

We took Cody and Piage to see the movie WALL-E and of course I had to take her picture in front of all the cute cardboard cut outs.

We promised to take her to see the new Ice-Age movie when it comes out.

KUNG FU PANDA!

Hmmm...must be hard work to lay in bed and watch Grandma work!

Hear no evil, See no evil, and DO IT...LOL

Hey Grandpa, could you hurry up with the fireworks please!

Ok....that's better!

Oh No...Grandma said it is time to go to bed.....bad grandma....LOL

Nicole and T and some of their friends were at Bear Lake for a softball tounament. We took Cody and Piage up there and dropped them off.

Cody decided the best way to pass the time was to sleep.

Grandpa hooked up his lap top so Piage could watch a movie. By the smile on her face I think she liked that idea.

We stopped at Jeramiah's for breakfast and afterwards went out back to see the waterfall and coi pond.

The giant gold fish were beautful. Paige wanted to name them and Cody wanted to through in a hook!

Memory Lane.....

MEMORY LANE- I saw this on my friends blog and thought it would be fun. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Some Of My Favorite Things.....

And some I can't live without! I just thought I would share some of my fav things with you.Excluding my grandchildren of course. It goes with out saying that those little cuties are my favorites!

Some of these things make my life easier and some make me easier to live with....LOL

Cafe Rio pork salad. I didn't even know about this salad until a couple of years ago and now I want it all the time.
I love, love, love chocolate. If I ever needed a blood tranfusion it would have to come from Willy Wonka. I only like milk chocolate, no dark chocolate. And chocolate chip cookies are my all time favorite!
LOVE CSI but only the original one, I don't like any of the rest.

If you know me at all you know I can't live without my diet coke!
Ok, so here is the deal. I clean my counters waaaaay to much. And I have to clean them with purple 409. You know everyone has one of those freaky little quirks...come one you know you have one too....so this is mine. I probably clean my kitchen counters 15 times a day when I am home.....LOL
This is a new one to me but I can't live without it now that I have one. Lis gave me one for Mother's Day and I love it! No black marks no smoke and they have so many scents.

Scout Camp can be fun yet......

DANGEROUS.....Cody just got back from Scout camp. One of the activities they did was mountain biking....as you can see by the pictures below....the score is Moountain Bike 1...Cody 0.

OK...this one is much worse than it looks on here. I felt so bad for him. But he just said I'm fine...don't get all "Mom" on me...LOL. OK...I'll try but I can't imagine how much it must have hurt. And then one of my friends tells me her son was describing the accident to her and how much blood there was...yes...that is why mom's are not allowed at Scout Camp!

This one was just too gross to show.

Cute knees Huh.......

And last but not least...lets not forget the mosquito bites....LOL

Elder Heffron's Hump Day

Well, it's Hump Day (The halfway point or middle) for Elder Heffron. Today July fourth is the half way point for his MTC stay. We just can't believe that he has been gone a whole month already. From his letters we know he is doing very well. The spirit is stong in the MTC. He is learning and growing and becoming closer to his Father in heaven everyday. We are very proud of him and love him very much.

He sent Brittany a bunch of pictures and videos he took with his camera. Check out his blog and see them. Here are a couple with him and his friends.

Elder Heffron (Brandon) and his companion Elder Porter.

What a wonderful site. Brandon and some of his fellow missionary friends at the Provo temple.
