Happy New Year 2009

There is no better way to ring in the New Year than with good friends, good food and fun games! Jim and Regina are very special to us. They are the ones that got Scott and I together, and they even sang at our wedding. Their love, and friendship mean so very much to us. It just so happens that Jim's birthday is also New Years Eve. We had a great dinner and then cherry pie (Jim's favorite). We laughed and played our favorite card game Hand & Foot. Thanks so much for helping us ring in the new Year guys. We love you and looking forward to making many more memories in 2010!

Brittany got to open "Baby Brooklyn's" presents. She is due in May and we can't wait!!

It was a great Christmas. We got to talk to Brandon on the phone. It is always so hard to have a child away for the holidays. But knowing he is on a mission for the Lord makes it a bit easier. We are so proud of him and miss him so much. Merry Christmas "B"... we love you!!

The Many Faces of Thanksgiving 2009

Scott and I descide that from now on we will make Thanksgiving breakfast and not Thanksgiving dinner.

With most of our kids grown up and having families of their own there are many people for them to visit

on the holidays. And a few of our kids even have to sometimes work on holidays....like thisone. Johnny was working and was not able to be with us. Brandon was on his mission and Kendahl was in Washington. This way maybe they can all make it for part of the morning and then have the rest of the day fre to visit other friends and family members. It was fun and we can't wait to do it again!

Good thing Brittany's camera has a timmer! And Jaxson is looking at us like we are all crazy and we are...well just a little bit anyway!

After breakfast we went to "Sweet Aftons" candy shop and watched them dip the apples in caramel...YUM! and Grandma let us all pick a treat to take home. It was a goood start to our day! Can't wait to do it next year!

Labor Day Weekend

 The kids came up for a visit over Labor day weekend. It was so much fun to end our vacation by spending time with our kids and grandkids. Sure wish Brandon and Kendahl could have been there.
