MAY...WOW... What a month!!

May was such a busy month. It seems we had one event after another. But it was nice to be with the family so much. We were able to celebrate together, comsume a lot of food and take a ton of pictures.

May 11th: Mothers Day

May 15th
My sister Marinita (or Nita or Sissy) and her husband John came to visit and to help Cody celebrate his 15th birthday. It was so much fun to have them here. They enjoyed getting to meet some of the family they had not met yet and we got together for a BBQ so everyone could meet and spend a little time together. It was great and I'm so glad we did it. We miss them and can't wait to see them again.

May 25th

As many of you know. My son-in-law "T" has been married before and has a 21 year old daughter named Tammy. Tammy is getting ready to have her first baby. Kayden is due on May 11th and we can't wait to have him join our family....even if it does make a great grandma at 48...LOL. These pictures were taken at the baby shower.

7,6,5,4,3,2,1, Only a week left

Only a week left and Papa Bear is really feeling it.He is trying to be so strong but if you know him at all you will know he is on the edge. Brandon is his son,and he is so proud of him and wants him to have every good thng in life. He knows serving a mission is such a wonderful way to serve the Lord and to thank the Lord for all we have. But.....even though Brandon is now a man.....he is still Scott's little boy. I'm sure his mom is feeling the same way and you can probably double it.

Scott and Brandon spent the day together today. Talking. and doing a few guy things. I know Scott enjoyed it very much. I hope Brandon did too.


They started the day at Kneaders with all you can eat french toast. One of Brandon's favorites.


Then they went to play miniature golf....


Then Brandon treated Scott to a movie for Father's Day.


We all had Panda for dinner, another one of Brandon's favorites.

MISSION COUNTDOWN 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

It's Almost time......


It seems like only yesterday Brandon handed in his mission papers and now he is leaving in just a few short days. It has gone by so fast. Each of us is going to miss him because we all love him. But I also know each of us is going to miss something we feel is special about him.For Cody...his big brother is leaving. For me, it's the way he makes me laugh, and I'm sure everyone else is holding something special in their hearts as well. We are all so proud of you Brandon and know you will do the Lords work to the best of your ability and beyond. You always give a 100% to all you do. But we will miss you so much!!

MAY SPOTLIGHT



My Oh My....how time does fly. Where has my little boy gone? He is now 6'3 and weighs 192 lbs.
Our family spotlight for May is Cody. Today he turned 15 and I am not handleing it too well....LOL.

Cody's Aunt Nita and Uncle John came up from Florida to help Celebrate. Our other kids came over and we had a really nice evening.We missed Kendahl but we were thinking of her and wishing she could be here.

Cody loves art and has such a talent for it. He loves to laugh and make others laugh. He is kind and loving and can always make me smile. But he is a boy, what a strange sense of humor. But then again who understand a 15 year old boy?
He loves his family very much and would do anything for them.He will be in 10th grade after the summer break and entering high school....not sure how much I like that either...LOL. His favorite food is pizza or spaghetti,his favorite color is green. If he has any free time you can find him drawing something, and listening to music. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CODY....We love you!!!

Mother's Day weekend was great. Scott & Cody did a whole honey do list of things arund the house for me. Brittany and Jaxson stopped by on Saturday with a gift from Britt, Johnny, Jaxson, Kendahl & Brandon. Then Nat, Nic, T and Piage came over on Sunday for dessert. We had a great visit, had some pie and opened a few presents. Thanks to all of you my Mother's Day weekend was wonderful.
