Valentine's Day Weekend

Valentine's Day weekend we got to spend a little time with some of our kids and grandkids. Paige spent the night with us while her mom and dad went out. Of course we had to ahve hotdogs...she loves them and always ask for them when she comes to our house. She does have her standards though....they must be all beef..LOL.. She and Uncle Cody had a good time making faces for the camera.

My little sweetie making silly faces.

Johnny, Brittany and Jaxson came over for a little while. Jaxson made us some cookies and brought them over. We also had a few things for him. It was a lot of fun to spend time together.

My 3 week long birthday...

I have been so busy working on my new recipe blog I have been neglecting this blog. My birthday was Jan. 24th and I have finally gotten around to posting these pictures.

This year my birthday lasted about 3 weeks. I had a birthday dinner the week before my birthday, was taken out to eat twice on my birthday and had another birthday dinner the week after my birthday....I kind of like this!

The week before my birthday Nicole and T had us over to celebrate. Tammy and Kayden were able to join us. It was a great birthday dinner. Ncole made chicken enchiladas, spanish rice and a brownies with icecream. Thank you so much Nicole. Dinner was wonderful and having time with all of you was just the kind of birthday present I wanted. I love you!!

The dessert was wonderful

Kayden loves to play with his Auntie Paige

Great Grandpa Scott was a little greedy with Kayden....LOL

T with his first grand baby...Kayden

I just love this picture of Paige

I got me some lovin from my great-grandson Kayden. He sure is a sweetie!

Thank you Paige. Grandma loves the card you made her, and she loves you too!

On My birthday I started the day by going to breakfast with my good friend Regina. She is so dear to me for many, many reason.I decided to frame at picture of us and give it to her just because, and guess what she did the same thing. I gave her a picture of us that was taken recently at her house and she gave me one that was taken a couple of years ago when we were camping. The really funny thing is the frames were almost identical. In fact I almost bought the one she did but put it back at the last minute and chose a different one in the same style line. Thanks Regina. The coconut pancakes were sooo good but starting my birthday out with you was really great.

Then Scott took me out to dinner and a movie. It was a great birthday filled with family and friends, lasting memories and wonderful presents.

The Day after my birthday Johnny, Brittany and Jaxson came over for dinner. We had a great visit and really loved watching Jaxson crawl all over the place. He is growing up so fast.

Hey everyone look how big I am.

Hey Uncle Cody could you let me down. I just saw some stairs I need to climb.

Napkin...I don't need a napkin. Chocolate pudding was made to be enjoyed!

OK everyone watch me...I'm going to the top all by myself.

Don't worry Grandpa I can do this all by myself. But just in case I slip, be standing by ok!

Here I come Grandma...I'm going to get ya!

All that stair climbing makes a guy thirsty

The Saturday after my birthday Natalie invited us all over for Homemade Hamburger Pizza. It is her Grandma Session's recipe and it is my favorite pizza of all. I love it that my girls are old enough to invite me over and they do the cooking and I get to be the guest. Thank you Natalie. The pizza was great, and getting to spend time with you was wonderful I love you!I had already met her new boyfriend but Papa Scott and Cody had not....we all approve. He is a really nice guy!

Not sure why Cody was making that face. BUt...he is an almost 16 year old teenage boy...NUFF SAID!

Nicole and Paige

It was the first time Scott had eaten Nat's pizza but he loved it.

Paige didn't want any pizza but she did want candy. She must be my granddaughter...LOL

This birthday lasting 3 weeks thing is pretty cool. Wonder if I can pull it off again next year. That one is the big 50!!
