Happy Birthday Cody!

Happy 17th birthday to my son Cody!

Where did the time go? How did you get
so big?

What happened to my little baby boy?

Cody I want you to know how much
I love you and how much joy you bring
into my life. You are growing and changing
into a man right before my eyes. But you
will always be my baby.

I love the way you can always make me laugh.
I love your tender heart. I love how everything
seems so exciting and interesting to you.

The day you were born was the happiest day of my life.

You are the best thing I have ever done!

Happy Birthday!

Love you.....Mom.

Ba"Bee" Shower

Sweet Micayla is like another daughter to me. She and my daughter Nicole have been best friends for many years. There is just about nothing I wouldn't do for her. So as soon as we found out she was pregnant we started planning a shower. The "Bee" theme was all Nicole's idea since Micayla loves the "Burt's Bee" products. It sure was a fun theme to work with. And I met some really talented ladies to help me out.

The "BEE" diaper cake was easy to make. We just watched a short video on You Tube and in minutes it was done. Nicole found the "Burt's Bee" baby products and I found the chocolate "Bee" candy. We wrapped a plan old cardboard box in wrapping paper and tied some ribbon around it.

The food was so yummy. We tried for a little more of a gown up menu.

Don't you just love all the little "Bee's" we found!

I love these little cupcake toppers. A very Talented lady named Rebekah made them for me. I will give you all her info at the bottom of this page. The petifores are from Schmidts Pastery Cottage here in Utah.

I love the cute back and white cupcake wrappers.

I always change the plates in my plate rack to match the colors of my party.

I made different areas for everything. Here the ladies could pick up their plate and utensils.

Punch served in a beautiful decanter and bottled water with the cutest labels.

Rebekah also made these cute labels.

There were yummu goodies to take home. And you will taste Heaven when you taste one of these sugar cookies!

These cookies are FANTASTIC! Soft and piled high with the best frosting you will ever eat.

Me and micayla...Love ya girl!

My daughter Natalie and Micayla. Thanks Nat for all your help with the shower!

First let me apologize for some of the pictures. Photography is not my strong talent. Plus I guess it's probably time to get a new camera if I am going to continue this blogging thing.
All of the ladies who helped me with this shower are so talented and you must check out their bogs and websites.

Invitations, beautiful paper flowers, goodie cones and flower pin Micayla was wearing were all made by my sweet friend Tammy Hanney at Show And Tell Design company.
The fantastic cupcake toppers, goodie bag tags and water bottle labels were made by cute Rebekah over at A Blissful Nest. She was soo easy to work with and helped me so much with the design.
And the AMAZING cookies were made by my new friend Tatum at Bumble Cakes. I called her at the last minute when another lady had to pull out and Tatum was soooo sweet. She jumped right in and made these adorable and oooohhhhh so yummy cookies for me.
You can also find all of these amazing women on facebook. My heart felt thanks to all of you!!!
