SEPTEMBER FAMILY SPOTLIGHT

Kendahl and Matt


Our spotlight this month is Kendahl!

She is such a sweetie. Yes....I know she doesn't live with us full time so we probably get her at her best, but you know what...that's OK! Most summers she is with us about 5-6 weeks. We also get to have her visit every other Christmas and Thanksgiving and any other chance we get. She has a very sweet spirit and great attitude about life. She is kind and loving and just generally an all around great young woman.She is a joy to be around.

Kendahl lives with her Mom Lis in Washington. She will be turning 17 on the 29th of this month.She has her first semi-serious boyfriend (giving her dad a heart attack...just teasing Kendahl). I say semi-serious because he just left to serve a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His name is Matt and we are very happy that Kendahl has chosen to stay true to what the Lord wants for her by dating worthy young men.

Kendahl is very smart and really excels in school. She never brings home anything below an "A". She loves all sports and participates in as many as she can. This past year she excelled in golf and dance. She is active in the young women's program of our church, she baby sits,helps her mom around the house,and still has time for friends.Her favorite color is lime green,she loves music,dancing and hanging out with her friends and family.Her dad's nickname for her is "Angel" or "KC" and I call her "Sweet Pea"

We hope she knows how much we love her and appreciate her kind and loving spirit.

Seventeen...Oh My Goodness how did that happen?
Even though her birthday is not until the end of the month let us be the first to say "Happy Birthday Kendahl" We love you!
