MOVIE MADNESS

For all of you that know me you probably know Scott and I love to go to the movies and usually go at least 3 times a month. Our kids are kind enough to give us gift certificates on Christmas and birthdays so that really helps with paying for our little hobby...LOL. By choice we never go to "R" rated movies so that really narrows it down on the choices. Seems like if they are not cussing like crazy or naked they don't want to make a movie about it. I have seen some really good movies this past year but these are some of my worse picks.Make sure to leave me a comment on what your best or worse movie picks of the year were.

OK, my all time pick for worse movie of the year.... yep....I hated it. I loved the books but hated the movie. I never go see a movie after I have read the book but broke my own rule. The makeup was hideous, the acting was luke warm, and Edward....he was not the sexy, vampire guy that was in my book. And who picked Bella...OMG...she was lame. BUT...they tell me the director for the next one will be a different guy so maybe there is hope on the horizon for all the millions of fans.

OK...this one was a sleeper for sure. Soooo Loooong and no meat to it. I thought it was never going to end and then when it did...wow..what a disappointment.

This one was at least filled with a little suspense....I'm starting to worry about Will. Is he just slipping or not taking the time to pick great roles anymore. I realize this was a 2007 movie and not from this year. But I thought I would throw it in since I was talking about how bad his choices have become. I am a big Will Smith fan....or at least I used to be.

It was OK, but not his usual quality....

Stupid.....Stupid....Stupid!

We don't see movies in theaters as often as I'd like with 3 small youngins, but we recently saw Changling. I am not an Angelina Jolie fan, but I really liked the movie and it didn't end up how I thought it would so it keeps you guessing. I can't even remember the movie we saw in the theater before that...it's been way too long! I hope that helps!

I don't get to see them to much any more either...but I did see Twilight and I agree...so the book is always better than the movie, but the acting was not that good and it seemed like a super low budget film to me...we will see what the other movies bring.

Didn't love Twilight either! Not sure if I could give you a favorite movie this year....I did like The Dark Knight!

My favorite movie was Christmas Card. It is not a new movie but rather a few years old. I have seen this movie 12 times now and I still do not get tired of it. Not so much because it was great acting, but rather because it was and old idea of how a family should be. Being an old fashioned person, this appealed to me and I recommend it to anyone. I don't go to the movies as my Hine End is way to large to get comfortable in those tiny little chairs. However, I do have an extensive library! Twilight was out of the question for me!

Of the ones I've seen (I'm way far behind in my movie watching), I enjoyed Made of Honor the most. And I will NEVER see them, but any movie with Will Ferrel or the guys from the Superbad type movies gets my vote for worst movie of the year. I lose IQ points just sitting thru the trailer in the theater.
